Dance in Room 11

Dance is happening in Room 11. We have been learning a variety of dance elements in the last few weeks. Here is a video showing the NZ Royal Ballet dancing a Lady Gaga song "Bad Romance". Can you recognise and name any of the locomotor and non-locomotor movements? What about the different pathways they are using?

  1. Beautiful! Dancing on your toes hurts!I think that was great. They look like graceful swans dancing in the sky. I loved the way they used different levels.

  2. Cool i think the locomotor movements that the dancers used were sliding, jumping and walking. Some of the pathways they used were circular and in the air. I thought that they used parts of the haka and were very graceful.
